Her regular yoga practice has played an important role in cultivating her strong ability to focus on her goals whilst letting go of some of the limiting beliefs we so often hold about what we are able to achieve or not. Her Yoga Teacher Training, her studies with Yoga Sports Science as well as her Running Technique Coach training led her to work with a lot of clients who aim to enhance their performance in their chosen sports as well as find strength and an improved sense of well-being and quality of life. She delivers tailored sessions to all her clients and is enthusiastic about encouraging them to tap into their own power and strength through looking at the core as multiple head-to-toe interconnecting lines that make up our innermost support system, leaving them feeling exercised, re-energized and maybe even a little bit taller.

Yoga Instructor - Lauren Brady Having grown up swimming and dancing her way through her childhood years, then cheerleading through her teens, Lauren fell in love with sport not only for the physical benefits but for the connection it brought about with others. After a year living in Sydney, running along the Bondi coastal paths and training at the gym where she worked, Lauren found moving to London in 2010 a lonely and stressful experience. Until she discovered yoga.

After just one Bikram class, Lauren was hooked and spent the next couple of years practicing both Bikram and various other styles of yoga across London. It was on a work trip to France, where she decided to round up the troops for a yoga class by the pool that she discovered her love of teaching and went on to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training. Now she loves nothing more than bringing some sunshine to her classes here in London with a fiery, breath-synchronised Vinyasa practice that will not only work the whole body but will also help to calm down the constantly chattering 'monkey mind'.

Having suffered with back pain for several years, Lauren is particularly interested in maintaining correct alignment and encouraging her students to listen to their bodies and adapt the postures to suit their individual capabilities. To paraphrase one of her teachers, “Let the pose work for the body, rather than the body work for the pose”.

"I have been training regularly with U-Shape since early summer this year and quickly noticed a palpable improvement in my overall level of physical fitness, well-being and muscle tone. All of U-Shape’s trainers completely align with my desire to achieve a high standard of long-term health, based on an appropriate level of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle, and have a very good understanding of how to help me achieve this goal."
